Let’s first get into what I achieved in March from the list of shit to get done…

 

1 – Release Spiros & Jenny on March 19th in paperback.

2 – Finish the other books so they have an April 21 release date for the four novels, and a June 21 release date for all Porn Star books. These are just tentative dates at this time.

3 – Get the character lists done on the long weekend. It’s only the four novels that need doing, but then I’ll need to set them all up on the website.

4 – Do the one thing that’s most important and that’s to start writing this year’s book, OR, at least, write out a base plan for it.

5 – Continue looking into newsletters and mailing lists.

6 – Get my details uploaded for PLR (Public Lending Rights) for my books to earn money from library borrows. I managed to send 25 books off to the NLA (National Library of Australia) for legal deposit. And maybe I can get Spiros & Jenny off before the March 31st cut off date.

7 – Get back to commenting on other blogs.

8 – Write April’s blog posts.

 

As you can see, my monthly list looks like a toffee apple, or to those Americans who follow me, a candy apple. I did four things on the list and didn’t do four. Even Stevens.

I also had other things to take care of, such as a twelve hour stint in hospital after twelve hours of pain that flattened me for the rest of the week.

I wrote some emails, uploaded my books into the PLR, watched the corona virus and saw the Aussie Dollar flatline in America. I also went down a rabbit hole crushing on a drummer much younger than me but at least he gave me a hell of a lot of inspiration for a story/novel. Not sure how it will go yet, have some details written but nothing solid. I have other things to write first.

Okay, so let’s launch into what I want to do in the month of April…

Before I start, it’s also the technical school holidays this month, even though most schools here have been let out weeks ago because of the corona virus. It’s also easter so I will be taking the time off to try and get shit written.
