Welcome to the full year catch-up where I check in with myself to see what was completed, what’s in the process of, and what’s not been done.

I laid out my full year plans to cover all three businesses, and some personal lists. My usual business plans, social mafia, health, and others. My writing plans and to sell & offer. I’ve divided the plans into sections for easier use. My Writing Plans, To Sell & Offer, My Business Plans, and My Other Plans all have multiple sections under them.

So, without further ado, here we go with the plans that were done in green, those still in the process in orange, and those not done in red.

 

MY BUSINESS PLANS FOR 2025!

 

Business/Author Plans

– 1 – Make Mondays in January to March ‘Course Monday’.

– 2 – Do a writing picture book course.

– 3 – Do an online screenwriting course or two or three.

– 4 – Watch LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, and Domestika courses

– 5 – Continue to catch up with old author courses.

– 6 – Get newsletter reader magnets going.

– 7 – Update all LJD books with new books and redo about links

 

Considering…as I am every year

– 1 – Contact papers, mags, TV for opinion pieces.

– 2 – Fix issues with the KDP versions of Poems.

– 3 – Update LJD novels with new author font.

– 4 – Update TKW covers cancel 5×8 cls under djs.

– 5 – Try Amazon, Bookbub, or Facebook ads.

– 6 – Do media releases based on the online media release course I did.

 

Social Mafia

– 1 – Update the theme for Jewel Divas Style.

– 2 – Blog at both when I feel like it / take photos.

– 3 – Post to socials during the week across board.

– 4 – Take school holidays off social media.

 

MY OTHER PLANS FOR 2025!

 

Health

– 1 – Continue with the chiro.

– 2 – Continue with current measures for losing weight.

– 3 – Get will done!

 

Finances

– 1 – Save more each fortnight and continue to keep the credit card to a monthly limit.

 

Fashion/Jewellery

– 1 – Find the pieces for my personal collection.

– 2 – Continue with repairs as they come to hand.

 

Other Goals

– 1 – Finish off smaller book collections. Trixie, Dana, Susan, Connie, Kay, Hardy, MSW.

– 2 – Finish my Swatch collection.

– 3 – Finish my Caboodle and Sassaby collections.

– 4 – Redo Nancy paperwork to simplify and make it easier. (I didn’t get this done last year, and, in all honesty, I just didn’t want to because I don’t yet know how I’m going to change it)

As you can see, a lot has turned to green as I did so many bloody books this year. One newly written, four newly published, three others were re-written, updated, and re-released. I also released a short story and a horror guide. Woohoo!

What an exhausting year it’s been! And who knows what will happen after this post. I’m aiming to write some poems and songs, and maybe a short story or two. Short items to get me back into writing so the next novels can come along.

Some items were left for 2026, some were left indefinitely, or until I finish writing all of the adult novels I have planned. I’m not as fast as I used to be, and have slowed down considerably, which means I get less written in a year.

My most productive year was 2016. Well…it’s 2026 next year, and since 2015 was busy, just like 2025, who knows what next year will bring ten years on. The motor’s revving and ready to go. Bring it, 2026!
