Anyone else exhausted by people with imposter phenom?
So many people cling to it like victims.
Oh, woe is me, I’m such an imposter.
It becomes a safety blanket, a dummy, a lifeboat to cling to as life passes them by, a life of victimhood.
Why?
Why are you disrespecting yourself so much that you play the victim instead of getting rid of it?
And you can get rid of it. With therapy. That’s according to the doctor who wrote the book on it, and coined the phrase, Dr Pauline Clance.
But people love to cling to their victimhood because it means attention, for years and decades to come.
Oh, woe is me, I’m such a victim.
No, bitch. You’re just fucking exhausting.
And the cycle continues.
You’re disrespecting yourself by not growing up and being a mature adult who deals with their issues. Because the attention is too great, too much, too addictive to let go of. You milk it, you make money off it, you write about it constantly because you can’t grow up and let it go because how will you make money off it then? How will you milk it for attention then? You won’t be able to because you won’t be suffering from it and that means no attention all because of a feeling.
Because that’s all IP is. A feeling. A feeling of not being good enough, and hence feeling like an imposter.
Get to a therapist, deal with your Imposter Phenomenon, and become the mature adult you’re supposed to be. Not the whiny little bitch you are.
Oh, yay is me, I’m such an adult who doesn’t have issues.
And the cycle is broken.
