This week we’re talking Virginia Woolf.
When I decided to collect author stationery, I found out there was next to nothing on most authors, and a lot on others.
But for some reason, I also found myself buying books about them, after borrowing them from the library. I quickly narrowed down which authors I was going to buy books on, and so the limit began to keep it to one to three books a piece. Wish I had’ve remembered that when it came to Poe…
But here’s to Virginia…
I read Hermoine’s book on her from the library, all 920 pages, if I remember correctly, and found it long, but extremely informative so put it on the list to buy. Her nephew, Quentin bell, also released a book on her and I added it to the list.

I chose to read her essays, and borrowed The Common Reader from the library. I read the second first, and then found that Virginia did an essay on Jane Austen in book one, so I bought it, along with A Room Of One’s Own, which is seen as a feminist essay. As of me writing these posts, I am yet to read them due to the backlog of library books I’m yet to read.

These pieces are the only stationery I found. On the left is a notebook from Redbubble. On the right, an offical “signature” notebook, and on the bottom, an “official” pen. I bought one, but for some reason they sent me four. So four for the price of one. Yeah!

And that’s it. I don’t want to go overboard with collecting as I have very little room, but she does sit on the top shelf of my book case along with the other kick-ass women, Christie, Austen, Dickinson, the Brontes, Mary Shelley, and Jackie Collins. If I do find more stationery, I’ll consider it, but it will have to be inexpensive and amazing. There is a Paperblanks notebook to collect, and a Montblanc Pen, which will be pricey. So those two are still on the list.
Up next is Agatha Christie and Mary Shelley.
